Upper: The upper combines a mix of real and synthetic leather or rich nubuck for a durable and structured fit. Iconic, grid-like mesh appears on the side panels and tongue for breath ability.
Midsole: The polyurethane foam midsole features the signature fighter jet-inspired "shark-tooth" design. A visible Air-Sole unit is located in the heel to provide responsive cushioning and impact protection.
Outsole: Traction is provided by a durable rubber outsole, which was the first in the Jordan line to feature translucent rubber.
Additional features: The sneaker also includes a plastic lace-lock for an adjustable fit and an oversized, often reflective, tongue.
